TERI LEMAN
I am a professional Voice Instructor in the Chicagoland area. The love and passion I find for performing and teaching has been part of my daily existence for as long as I can remember. It is my aspiration to help individuals with like passion, soar beyond their wildest dreams.
This studio welcomes students of all ages! Whether it be musical theatre, opera, contemporary worship, jazz, etc., I help students reach their desired goals through creative approach.

LESSONS
VOICE TECHNIQUE
Instruction on posture, proper breathing, vocal placement and support. Learning to produce a healthy, strong singing voice is vital to all genres and styles of music, be it opera, musical theatre, jazz, folk, and classical/contemporary sacred.
SIGHT SINGING
Sight singing is the ability to read and sing new music without hearing it first. I endorse the solfeggio method. Learning this skill allows students to understand music in greater depth, find the center of pitch, hear intervals clearly, sharpen rhythm, and gives the ability to sing with greater ease.
REPERTOIRE
Students will build their individual repertoires diverse in genre and style. There will be opportunities for students to choose their material so that their presentation of the song is sung with genuine passion.
Let me introduce Kara Leman! While I prepare my students to perform top-notch vocal technique, there is a rising demand in dedicating more lesson time to acting technique and audition preparation. Students now have the opportunity to choose another lesson option where they will work with me on vocal technique and acting technique with Kara.
Kara earned her BFA in Musical Theatre and both teaches and performs professionally. With her passion and expertise, she offers private coaching sessions for students who are looking to learn acting technique, build confidence, discover and reveal their creative, artistic self in auditions and performances.
